The residents and yacht clubs of the USS have been on the leading edge of developing sailing in Second Life. Whether racing, cruising, scuba diving, or surfing is your thing, the residents of the USS have worked to provide wonderful water recreational opportunties for all SLers.
Golfing
Is there anything as satisfying as a good game of golf with friends. You and find that too, here in United Sailing Sims. Break out your driver, and maybe the sand wedge, just be wary of any gators that might be lingering about the course.
Art
While the wild open seas are indeed quite lovely, sometimes its nice to take in something more artistic in nature. You’ll discover regular art exhibits on the streets and galleries of the United Sailing Sims showing off several of the finer pieces of Second Life artwork.
Music
Music appeals to everyone and you will find no shortness of it here. The music Venues of the United Sailing Sims offer a wide variety of live music all genres to please everyone. The best talent in Second Life pass across these stages.
Living
Looking out the window from your living room, past the pines and brush you see a small fleet of tall ships making full sail for the south. You smile to yourself and think what a wonder it is to live here. You’ll find several estates offering residential homes and parcels throughout the complex.
Shopping
From interesting little shops in quaint little towns to wonderful malls in more urban areas you can find it within the Estates of United Sailing Sims. You must set some time to wonder and enjoy. The merchants you will find cover a wide area of goods, all very well crafted.
Surfing
You just can’t miss this! Surfing, actual surfing in Second Life, ride the waves like a pro. It is truly a unique experience and one you will not soon forget, bring a friend or four. A great way to have a fun time you will be back time and time again, free demo boards are on site.
Diving
Whether you prefer Jules Vern or Jacques Cousteau; you’ll find much to explore in the depths of the United Sailing Sims, be it sunken ships, lost treasures, or even an unruly creatures of the deep. Make sure to bring a harpoon gun, just in case…
Flying
If flying is your passion, then you’re going to love visiting the United Sailing Sims. With hundreds of sims of open are and water, half a dozen airports large and small and growing, there’s quite a bit to see and do for the aspiring pilot.
Nature
The wonders of nature are abound throughout the United Sailing Sims. There is a lot to see from simple nature walks to undersea wonders its here for you to explore. Be sure to take to time for a stroll or horseback ride on our wonderfully themed islands.
